It all begins with a dream.
HELP US MAKE WAVES IN BREVARD COUNTY
Our vision is bold: Build a state-of the art aquatic center in Palm Shores that will transform Brevard County into a hub for swimming, fitness, and community connection. This world-class facility will feature a 22-lane competition pool and a 3-lane teaching pool, designed to serve everyone - from beginners to elite athletes.
The competitve pool will be the training gound for Swim Melbourne’s Mahi age group and masters teams, with a mission to grow the Mahi into an internationally recognized program. The teaching pool will be a welcoming space for young facilities learning water safety, adults pursuing fitness and rehab, triathletes training for their next race and seniors staying active.
But this program is about more than just swimming - it’s about inclusion and opportunity. Our aquatic center will host Special Olympics and Paralympic programs, adaptive swimming, and charity events, ensuring that everyone in Brevard, regardless of age, ability, or background, has a place in the water.
This is a once-in-a-generation opportunity to give our county the aquatic programs it truly deserves — and we need your partnership to make it happen. Join us in building a legacy. Together, we can create a community where every swimming, every family, and every athlete has the chance to dive in and thrive.
OUR FUTURE LOCATION
PROJECT STATUS
Swim Melbourne Foundation was close to builiding a smaller facility, but has adjusted its plans to exceed Brevard’s need. We shifted our sites to a new location:
0 Pineda Plaza Way, Palm Shores, FL 32935.
This new location is more centralized and larger than the original footprint, allowing for us to build a 50-meter pool (instead of a 25-meter pool). This upgrade will provide twice as many swimming lanes and much more deck space as the first design. The aquatic center will be built next to a large sports complex that provides training to elite athletes. Design and construction plans are currently being finalized.
To attain our goal we need to raise $5.0 million dollars for construction and ongoing operational expenses are supported by annual memberships. We are actively seeking grant opportunities to bring this project to life and enrich the Brevard Community. Your support is essential in making this dream become a reality.
